Here are some frequently asked
questions and their answers. If you have additional questions,
please call us Toll Free at 877-340-2430 or email us at enviromed@cox.net. Q: Why are your Kits so
much more expensive than just a sharps container? A: Our Kits include not only a
sharps container, but full service transportation, disposal and
recordkeeping. The cost of the Kit includes shipping to you, the
collection container, certified waste packaging, pre-paid return
shipping and waste destruction at an EPA permitted Medical Waste
destruction facility. You pay one price, the rest of the easy and
convenient service comes with it! Q: Is it safe to mail
needles and medical waste through the United States Postal
Service (USPS)? A: Yes, but only through
EnviroMed's USPS certified and permitted service. EnviroMed hold
a USPS permit for the mailing of sharps and medical waste. Our
packaging materials that are included with each Kit have been
specially designed and approved by the USPS for this purpose.
That's why your waste must be packaged in our Kits for disposal. Q: Why should I use
EnviroMed? A: Because our products have been
designed specially for you. And, our committment to Customer
Service means you will be taken care of the same way whether you
are a diabetic home needle user or a large company disposing of
waste from nationwide locations. Our Program features the only
tracking service that keeps your waste secure from your point of
use through disposal, with no third party handlers. And, our
prices are the best. Q: I am a diabetic and use
needles at home for insulin injections. Do I have to dispose of
my waste as medical waste through a professional disposal
service? A: No. Home needle users are
exempt from requirements to dispose of their home generated
waste as medical waste. However, your needles should be
contained in a hard plastic or metal container before you discard
them into your trash. Many people feel more comfortable knowing
their waste is being handled professionally and in an
environmentally sound way. If you feel this way, we would be more
than happy to sell you a Kit for home use. Q: How do I find out more
information about your products? A: Call us at 877-340-2430, or
email us at enviromed@cox.net
